Payoneer Increases Transaction Fees for Pakistani Users Starting Mid-October: What You Need to Know

KARACHI – Pakistani freelancers who rely on Payoneer for their payments are facing higher costs as the platform adjusts its fee structure. Starting mid-October, Payoneer will increase transaction fees to 3% of the total amount, along with a fixed fee of $0.49 for transactions in US dollars.

For transactions in other currencies, the fixed fees will be:

GBP: £0.39
EUR: €0.45
AUD: A$0.75
CAD: C$0.67
JPY: ¥73.76
These fee adjustments will apply to all payments made or received via debit or credit cards, including those processed through the “Request a Payment” or “Initiate a Payment” options on Payoneer.

Payoneer has stated that this increase is part of their regular fee review process, aimed at keeping up with market trends. While the fee hike might be a setback for freelancers and businesses, the company assures users that their commitment to supporting business growth remains a priority.

Users can view the updated fees in the Fee section of their account settings once the changes take effect. All other existing additional fees will stay the same.
